Arman Tsarukyan remained undefeated in wrestling with a shutout performance over Tony Ferguson in the RAF 10 co-main event.

It didn’t take long for Tsarukyan to start racking up points and a pair of nasty slams put up a total of eight points leading to a technical fall victory over Ferguson with the final score of 10-0. Afterwards, Tsarukyan faced off with Colby Covington, who he’s scheduled to meet in the RAF 12 main event on July 18 in Milwaukee.

“Feeling great. Thank you for coming,” Tsarukyan shouted to the crowd. Thank you for the support. Thank you to Tony Ferguson.

“[Colby Covington] it’s going to be easier than Tony Ferguson. This is the easiest money. I’m going to do 10-0 in the first round. Be in shape, after the match, no excuses.”

For his part, Covington didn’t seem intimidated by the task at hand and he vowed to end Tsarukyan’s run when they meet in four weeks’ time.

“No more cupcake matchups,” Covington said. “I’m going to break him on this mat.”

An inside trip attempt from Ferguson was thwarted with Tsarukyan getting a takedown to start the match. A split second later, Tsarukyan got in deep on a body lock, lifting Ferguson into the air and then slamming him back down to the mat again for four points.

Ferguson came back and tried to land a single leg takedown but Tsarukyan was able to fight him off as the match moved into the second period.

It didn’t take long for Tsarukyan to attack again as he grabbed onto the body lock again and it took him a moment but he lifted Ferguson before bringing him crashing down again. The four point move put Tsarukyan up 10-0 to end the match.

Now Tsarukyan prepares for his toughest matchup yet against an All-American in Covington, who currently sports a 2-0 record in RAF with wins over Luke Rockhold and Chris Weidman.
