Tyrone Samba, 17, and brother Floyd Samba, 16, have become key players for City’s U18s side this season.

Winger Tyrone has four goals and three assists in nine appearances.

While midfielder Floyd has three assists and eight goals in just seven outings.

The younger Samba sibling also has eight caps across England’s U16s and U17s.

But the pair could yet end up representing another nation.

Dad Chris, 41, who starred for Blackburn, QPR and Aston Villa, played for Congo.

It’s believed that African nation football chiefs want Tyrone and Floyd to follow in their father’s footsteps.

And they may find the emotional pull too hard to resist.

However, the pair are also eligible to play for France.

Dad Chris was born in the French town of Creteil and could have played for England’s European neighbours instead.

There’s also a third nation available for the brothers, with their mother Teresa hailing from Germany.

She met their dad Chris while he played for Hertha Berlin in the mid-noughties.

And the Germans have a history of taking English talents including Jamal Musiala.

Tyrone and Floyd could now have some big calls to make later in their careers.

But they are sure to seek out the opinion of their old man.

Tyrone recently opened up on dad Chris’ influence to become a footballer.

He said last month: “My dad is definitely my biggest inspiration.
