Patchy Mix failed to make weight for his bantamweight bout at RIZIN 54, coming in almost 6.3 pounds over the limit for his fight with Shoko Sato in Tokyo. The promotion announced he will no longer be featured in the co-main event, elevating another fight to that position.

The same rule applies to Alibek Gadzhammatov, who missed the flyweight limit by 3.85 pounds for his clash with Yuki Ito.
