Partizan is still recovering from the decision of legendary coach Zeljko Obradovic to step down; however, according to Nova.rs the team is already near a deal with Malik Beasley.
The 29-year-old guard is presented to be offered $2M net for six months, until the end of the season, which is more than luring.
According to the report, the negotiations are being led by the son of President Ostoja Mijailović, Jovan Mijailović, who is also the president of the e-sports section of Partizan.
Malik Beasley ended up second in the voting for the NBA sixth player award averaging 16.3 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 1.7 assists.
However, his name was involved in a federal investigation for alleged illegal betting.
On August 22, Shams Charania reported that the Eastern District of New York has stopped looking into Beasley as part of its gambling investigation, still no NBA team had present him with a contract offer.
