Panathinaikos grabs the easy win on the road against Promitheas Patras (63-96) after a massive second quarter (6-31). Ataman’s team dominated from start to finish. They only allowed 36 points to the local team through three quarters.

With four players in double-digits, Konstantinos Mitglou (21 p.) and TJ Shorts (19 p.) were the top scorers. Marius Grigonis added 16. Jerian Grant, Kendrick Nunn, Cedi Osman, and Mathias Lessort did not play for the Greens.

Grigonis led the way in a hard-fought first quarter (14-26). Ataman’s team didn’t hesitate to increase the pace before the break to dominate Promitheas with a huge 6-31 run (20-57).

Shorts and Mitoglou highlighted the second half to extend the advantage and crush Promitheas Patras away from home (63-96). After losing the Greek derby last Monday, Panathinaikos returned to winning ways in the domestic league.
