Nikola Jokic has been named NBA Western Conference Player of the Week. The Denver Nuggets center shares the award with Jayson Tatum (Boston Celtics, East), who returned several days ago after a serious Achilles injury.

Nikola Jokic has averaged 26 points, 17 rebounds, and 14 assists in the four games played by Denver this week with a 4-0 record. The Nuggets are in 4th position in the Western Conference with a record of 48-28 and six consecutive wins.

Jayson Tatum returned to the Celtics during a great run for the team. With Mazzulla’s squad being one of the surprises in the East, the NBA star averaged 25.7 points, 9.7 rebounds, and 6.7 assists, contributing to the Celtics’ 3-0 record this week. Boston is 2nd in the East with a record of 50 wins and 24 losses.
