In a quick turnaround from a narrow domestic win against Anadolu Efes, Fenerbahce welcomes Paris in Ulker Sports Arena on Tuesday.
After sitting out Round 22 of the 2024-25 Turkiye Sigorta Basketbol Super Ligi on Sunday, Nigel Hayes-Davis, Khem Birch, and Devon Hall were officially labeled as game-time decisions for Round 31 of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Regular Season.
Hayes-Davis and Birch are dealing with injuries, and Hall with an illness. Fener updated the injury list on Monday, confirming Scottie Wilbekin (right knee surgery) as out. The remaining players are healthy.
“It is a very important game,” Lithuanian head coach Sarunas Jasikevicius previewed the home contest versus Paris, “We need everyone to put in maximum concentration and effort. Paris is one of the fastest teams in the league. We need to find ways to slow them down and make it difficult for their guards.”
At 20-10, his side is on the verge of clinching a berth in the 2025 Playoffs of Europe’s premier club continental competition. Currently ranked second in the standings, the distance from leader Olympiacos is two games, with a one-game advantage over third-seeded Panathinaikos Aktor. Paris carries a 17-13 W-L tally and is tied with three other teams in fifth place.
Staying at home through the last double-game week of the EuroLeague Regular Season, Fenerbahce hosts Baskonia on Friday. A home fixture opposite FC Barcelona in Round 33 and a visit to FC Bayern Munich in Round 34 complete the double-legged round-robin schedule.
