In their contractual rematch, Mustafa Ali is once again the TNA International Champion after beating, bruising, and bloodying his former Order 4 soldier Jason Hotch at TNA Lockdown.
Having the homefield advantage, Ali came in red hot on Hotch seconds after the bell rung. Hotch refused to be cornered and beat down, so he connected a flurry of superkicks, followed by a massive toss of Ali off the top rope for only a two count. Heading toward the high risk district again, Hotch sent Ali head first into the canvas with a piledriver. Ali recovered with a DDT for only a two count. At one point in the match, Special Agent 0 unlocked the cage, only for Tasha Steelz to shut it before Ali could escape. This led to a disagreement between Mila Moore and Steelz, which turned violent on the outside. After fighting on the outside of the cage, Hotch split Ali in two by diving off the top of the cage and onto Ali, who was laying on a table. Continuing with the mind games, Ali approached Hotch’s daughter and took her stuffed animal. Before Ali could set the plushie on fire, Hotch slid into the ring, only to take more onslaught from Ali. Gaining his footing, Hotch made his way back up the top of the cage and landed a double stomp, for only another devastating two count. Ali thought his work was done after connecting one 450 splash, but Hotch refused. Ali did it again. The second splash was too much for Hotch to kick out from, thus awarding Ali the victory.
Hotch shocked the TNA universe when he outsmarted Ali and became the International Champion on the July 30 edition of “TNA Impact.” After being voted by his peers to face Ali, the divide between Hotch and Ali came after Hotch won the title. Today’s victory marks the second time Ali has had the title.
