Dubai advances to the ABA playoff semifinals after defeating Spartak and sweeping the series 2-0. They will join Partizan as the only team currently qualified for the next round.
Dzanan Musa exploded for 27 points, 5 rebounds, and 6 assists in the win on the road. Kabengele added 14 points and 12 rebounds.
After a comfortable 47-53 lead at halftime for Dubai, things got complicated in the final minutes. Spartak, who gradually improved as the game progressed, closed the gap to just a couple of points with one minute remaining.
Dubai relied on its talent to secure a road victory (84-88) and thus qualify for the ABA semifinals.
Crvena Zvezda still has to close out their series against Cedevita, while Partizan has already qualified with a 2-0 victory over Bosna Telecom.
