While UFC White House might be the promotion’s peak, Dana White says the UFC isn’t stopping anytime soon.
Earlier this week, the UFC CEO teased that, following the enormous success of the UFC White House event, UFC head of production, Craig Borsari, had already dreamed up another mega-event for the promotion to sink its teeth into. And as a result, White has given Borsari a new name around the office.
“Cocky Craig is his new name,” White told TMZ Sports. “He’s a rock star! The guy build an arena on the South Lawn of the White House, and now he’s just throwing cocky ideas at me every day now.”
Borsari is the UFC Executive Producer and Chief Content Officer, and on top of being the leader of the team that planned and executed the UFC White House event, Borsari also was responsible for many other high-production UFC events, like the Noche UFC event held at Sphere in Las Vegas, and Fight Island.
As for his next idea, White remained mum on what exactly Borsari had planned, but did say we might have an update as soon as next week.
“We’ll never do anything bigger than the White House,” White said. “The White House and being there that night was literally one of the greatest nights of my life. It was an amazing experience. What Cocky Craig came up with is a great idea and if we can make it happen — I have a couple calls after this weekend to see if we can get it done. And then he’s going to fly out and start doing some … recon work on the impossible event.
“Hopefully I can get this thing done next week and some of the stuff that I have to do, and then he can go walk the site, and hopefully we can announce something soon.”
But no matter how big the event might end up being, White insists that nothing will ever come close to the epic UFC White House card.
“There’s no doubt about it,” White said. “There’s no doubt about it. It was such an incredible night, and the way that the story played out with the storm breaking and going around the White House. Obviously my relationship with the president and the lead-up to all that, what Borsari pulled off, not just there but on the Ellipse, too, the amount of people that showed up, the highlights from the thing, America’s 250th birthday — nothing’s ever going to beat that.”

FINAL THOUGHTS
What do y’all think the mystery event is?
I’m going with a fight in The Colosseum. I know they talked about it for the ridiculous Zuck-Musk farce, but like, that is doable.

You could put a cage there, and have the Colosseum as a backdrop. Or, I guess, just do it in front of the Colosseum like they did with the White House.
And like I said after UFC White House, if the UFC wants to do Where In The World Is The UFC and just have fights in front of dope landmarks, I’m in. That is cool.
