MOHAMED SALAH was snapped leaving Liverpool training the day after his extraordinary rant against manager Arne Slot.

Salah was incensed at being benched for the third consecutive game after finishing Saturday’s 3-3 draw at Leeds United as an unused sub.

The Egyptian believes “someone doesn’t want him” at Anfield – and he could soon be offered a way out as Al-Hilal prepare to test Liverpool with a cut-price January transfer offer.

Salah also claims to have “no relationship” with Slot, who is under pressure amid a troubling run of form.

With serious questions raised about Salah’s future on Merseyside, the 33-year-old was pictured at the AXA Training Centre on Sunday.

Salah was inside for at least three and a half hours after arriving in the morning along with other Liverpool stars.

The three-time PFA Player of the Year winner left shortly before 3pm following a training and warm-down session.

And he was stoney-faced behind the wheel of his £330,000 Rolls-Royce Spectre as he drove out of the club’s glitzy training base.

There is much for Salah to ponder ahead of a crucial few weeks that could serve as his Reds farewell.

Salah signed a two-year deal in April but his comments may have made his position at Anfield untenable – as long as Slot remains in charge.

The Reds veteran has just over a week before he jets off to AFCON on December 15.

And Liverpool fans will be stewing over his bombshell interview comments until they receive clarity on his future.

Salah said: “I don’t know why, but it seems to me, how I see it, is that someone doesn’t want me at the club.

“I will be at Anfield [for the Brighton game on December 13] to say goodbye to the fans and go to the Africa Cup. I don’t know what is going to happen when I am there.”

He added: “It is not acceptable for me. How I see it now is like you throw Mo under the bus because he is the problem in the team now. But I don’t think I am the problem. I don’t have to go every day fighting for my position because I earned it.”

On the dynamic between himself and Slot, who told him he wouldn’t be starting the day before the Leeds game, Salah admitted: “There’s no relationship between us.

“It was a very good relationship and now all of a sudden there is no relationship.”

Slot refused to be drawn into talk of a Salah exit, saying: “We have to accept the situation we’re in, and I make my choices based on that.

“The short-term future of Mo is that he goes in a week’s time to the Africa Cup of Nations, but before that, we play Inter and Brighton.”

Michael Owen is one of numerous Reds legends to have slammed Salah for airing his grievances in public.

He wrote on X: “This is a team game and you simply can’t publicly say what you’ve said. You’re going to AFCON in a week. Surely you bite your lip, enjoy representing your country and see how the land lies when you get back?”

Salah has netted 250 goals in 420 games since signing for Liverpool in 2017 – leaving him third in the club’s all-time scoring charts.

But his output has tailed off this season, with a return of five goals in 19 games putting him on course for what would be his worst campaign in a Reds shirt.
