Michel Pereira is sticking around in the UFC and already has his next fight set.

“Demolidor” inked a new deal with the UFC after completing his previous contract with a close decision win over Zach Reese in February, and has agreed to re-enter the cage against Russian middleweight Shara Bullet on June 27.

Multiple people with knowledge of the situation confirmed the news with MMA Fighting following a report from Ag. Fight.

The event is tentatively scheduled for Baku in Azerbaijan, but MMA Fighting has learned the promotion is currently monitoring the situation in the region as the U.S. continues its war against Iran.

Pereira (32-14, 2 NC) was victorious in 10 of 15 octagon appearances, but had his back against the wall after dropping three in a row between 2024 and 2025, losing to Anthony Hernandez, Abus Magomedov and Kyle Daukaus prior to his victory over Reese.

Shara Magomedov a.k.a. Shara Bullet, has an MMA record of 16-1. He improved to 5-1 in the UFC with a bonus-winning decision over Marc-Andre Barriault this past July, rebounding from his sole MMA loss to Michael Page, but hasn’t fought in the UFC since. His latest activity saw him go to a pair of draws in grappling matches against Arman Tsarukyan and Edson Barboza.

The UFC Baku card also features Brunno Ferreira vs. Ikram Aliskerov, MMA Fighting has confirmed following a report from Laerte Viana. Aliskerov (17-2) enters the cage off back-to-back victories over Andre Muniz and Jun Yong Park, while Ferreira (15-3) looks to get back on track after Gregory Rodrigues put a stop to his three-fight winning streak.
