The league phase of Europe’s elite competition comes to a close tonight when 32 out of 36 teams fight it out for a place in the next round of the competition.
Henrik Larsson’s son Jordan Larsson will be among the players looking to extend their Champions League journey with Copenhagen.
And Jordan, 28, will be facing Barcelona at the Nou Camp, where Henrik, 54, spent two years of his illustrious career.
The winger is facing a daunting task as the reigning Danish champions need to beat Barca to book their place in the Champions League play-offs, while a draw could also prove enough.
And the Sweden international could do with some advice from his dad as he knows everything about the Blaugrana having won two LaLiga titles as well as the 2006 Champions League.

In fact, Henrik proved to be crucial in Barcelona’s European title win 20 years ago against Arsenal in the final.
The legendary striker came on as a second-half substitute in Paris when the Gunners led 1-0 thanks to Sol Campbell’s opener, despite losing goalkeeper Jens Lehmann to a controversial red card.

Of course that all took place after Henrik‘s stunning seven-year spell at Celtic where he registered a staggering 227 goals and 66 assists in 301 appearances before his move to Barcelona in 2004.
Jordan has had more of a nomadic career compared to his father as he played for the likes of Hogaborgs, Helsingborgs, NEC, Norrkoping, Spartak Moscow, AIK and Schalke before moving to Copenhagen in 2023.
The forward has since amassed a total of 31 goals and nine assists in 121 appearances with the Danish outfit.
