GK BARRY has just clapped back at the barrage of nasty comments she received for her remarks during the football draw.

The Loose Women star, 34, was chosen to pick balls out at random to find out which teams will play who in the women’s football league.

But GK claims she had no idea it was usually such a “serious event”, and got subsequently slammed for her quips and jokes.

Speaking to fellow Loose Women panellist Olivia Attwood on her podcast Olivia’s House, GK slammed how people loved to hate her remarks online but not in person.

“Nine times out of ten people will come up to me in person and be like, ‘That was so good.’

“And I say, ‘Could you get up your TikTok now and type that in and press send?!’

NEW YEAR GRIEVE

“The amount of people that will make videos slating me and I’ll click on their profile and they’ve got like Better Help in their bio and I think, ‘You’ve lost it.’”

Though the comments did really impact GK, leading to her feeling afraid to go outside.

“I felt like, ‘Everyone hates me and I actually can’t pop to the shops for a pint of milk. Someone’s gonna hit me.’

“But not because of the fame, because of the hate.

“Best believe I’ll watch every [hate] video. I’ll look at every comment and be like, ‘They’re right.’”

GK made multiple remarks about being a lesbian, finding humour in the fact she was doing a draw of balls.

Chatting to Olivia she explained: “But I started off, my opening line was, “Bit of fun, lesbian fondling with some balls.”

“I mean you can’t expect me not to say it. And then I ended it with, “And even if you’re a lesbian, get yourself a footlong.”

“But people apparently didn’t find that funny.

“If you’re hiring me, come on,” she noted after Olivia and the camera crew cracked up at the end of the tale.

The ladies went on to discuss the idea of online bias, where if one user is ranting and deeming something as “unacceptable”, others will chime in.

Olivia said: ” It’s like group think bias and people feel alone. So they see someone going, “This is outrageous” or something and think, “Okay, I want to be part of that.””

GK joined the Loose Women panel only a year ago, becoming their youngest panellist.

She’s known for her relatability and viral content where she openly discusses her sexuality and relationships.
