PREM ace Kyle Walker appeared to be heading for a nightmare hangover after dressing as Freddy Krueger for his club’s Christmas party.

The Burnley defender, 35, was caught on camera being propped up by a teammate in Edinburgh city centre after the boozy session.

He appeared uneasy on his feet as he was helped back to the team’s hotel on Sunday still dressed as the horror character.

Teammate Hannibal Mejbri, dressed as an Elf, is seen linking arms with Walker as they walked along.

An onlooker said Walker, known for his love of partying, looked full of Christmas cheer as Mejbri, 22, held him close.

They were then escorted by a bodyguard as they entered five-star hotel W Edinburgh in St James Quarter.

“He had clearly enjoyed himself.”

Another added: “They’ve obviously got an incredible team spirit.”

Walker played the full 90 minutes against Newcastle on Saturday and has become a mainstay in manager Scott Parker’s side.
