The rivalry between Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier is seemingly never ending even when they are coaching against each other on a reality show.

Jones and Cormier served as coaches during an Ultimate Fighter style show filmed in Thailand when they got into an argument over a potential wrestling match between them. It was actually Jones who laid down the challenge, which was interesting after he stated after filming wrapped that he probably would never face off with Cormier in a wrestling match due to issues with arthritis that might eventually forced him to undergo hip replacement surgery.

But that obviously wasn’t on his mind during filming with Cormier quickly shutting down his request.

“No, I’m not grappling you,” Cormier told Jones. “Money. More money.”

In response, Jones fired back saying “Daniel Cormier, little crybaby bitch” after he declined to engage in the wrestling match.

In the clip posted to social media, Jones continued pressing the issue and Cormier mocked the former UFC heavyweight and light heavyweight champion for his apparent obsession with him.

“This guy’s in love with me,” Cormier said. “He wants to touch me. He wants to touch me, he’s in love with me.”

While Jones and Cormier never ended up wrestling, the two-time Olympian finally laid down a challenge of his own with one of his Russian fighters offering to replace him in the match. Despite his fighter being significantly smaller, Cormier felt confidence that he would win, especially after seeing how Jones was standing before the match started.

“I’m killing him in wrestling,” Cormier shouted. “Look at his stance!”

It turns out Cormier proved his point when his fighter got in deep by snatching Jones’ lead leg before lifting him in the air and dropping him on the canvas for a takedown.

While Jones defeated Cormier twice in the UFC — one of those wins was eventually overturned to a no-contest — a wrestling match would certainly favor Cormier. He was an All-American in college before making two different Olympic teams in freestyle wrestling.

Jones competed in junior college but eventually put wrestling to the side to pursue a new career as a fighter.
