Injury-hit Minnesota still in control as Dosunmu’s explosion pushes Denver to the edge

Despite injuries to Anthony Edwards and Donte DiVincenzo, Minnesota moved within one win of advancing after taking a 3–1 series lead.

Even with both Edwards and DiVincenzo exiting the game due to injuries, the Minnesota Timberwolves controlled the contest and secured a convincing 112–96 victory over the Denver Nuggets.

Minnesota was powered by a stunning performance from Ayo Dosunmu, who erupted for 43 points and carried the team to its third straight win in the series.

On the other side, Nikola Jokić finished just shy of a triple-double with 24 points, 15 rebounds, and nine assists, while Jamal Murray added 30 points to go along with Jokić’s “Sombor double.” However, it wasn’t enough to keep Denver from slipping to the edge of elimination.
