Nikola Jokić once again showed why he is the king of triple-doubles.
The Serbian center led the Denver Nuggets to a 128–122 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers, recording a triple-double already midway through the third quarter.
Jokić finished the game with 22 points, 14 rebounds, and 14 assists, shooting 10-of-18 from the field in around 35 minutes on the court.
It was his 192nd career triple-double (second in NBA history), and his 85th achieved through three quarters — the most in the play-by-play era (since 1997–98).
Jamal Murray and Cameron Johnson added 19 points each, while Payton Watson returned from injury with 14 points and six rebounds.
On the other side, Deni Avdija also had a strong outing, but his 23 points and 14 assists weren’t enough for a win in Colorado. Belgian international Toumani Camara followed with 16 points.
