IBF cruiserweight champion Jai Opetaia enters his Zuffa debut against Brandon Glanton. The IBF has ruled that Opetaia will be stripped if he proceeds with the fight in Las Vegas, leaving the Zuffa cruiserweight belt as the only title at stake unless the IBF reverses its position.
The fight takes place Sunday, March 8, with the main card starting at 6 PM PT (9 PM ET, 2:00 AM GMT). Ring walks for the main event are expected around 7:30 PM PT, live on Paramount+
Jai Opetaia (29-0, 23 KOs), a 30-year-old Australian southpaw standing 6’2″ with a 76-inch reach, enters the fight unbeaten in 29 professional bouts.
Brandon Glanton (21-3, 18 KOs), a 34-year-old American, stands 6’0″ with a longer 79-inch reach and brings knockout power with 18 stoppages in 24 fights.
Other bouts include Ricardo Salas vs. Jesus Saracho at welterweight and Adan Palma vs. Pablo Rubio Jr. at featherweight.
The event will be broadcast in the United States on Paramount+, while viewers in the United Kingdom can watch the fight card free on Zuffa Boxing’s YouTube channel.
