Iowa (7-1, 0-1 Big Ten) returns to Carver-Hawkeye Arena for its Big Ten home opener against the Maryland (6-3) in the Terrapins’ league opener.
The Hawkeyes are looking to rebound from their first setback of the season, a 71-52 loss at No. 8 Michigan State. Iowa will be without freshman forward Trey Thompson, who was listed “out” again on the Hawkeyes’ league-mandated game day availability report.
Thompson is the lone Hawkeye listed. No one is listed for Maryland, other than sophomore guard Rakease Passmore who is listed as “out for season.”
Tipoff between the Hawkeyes and Maryland Terrapins is set for 3 p.m. CT and it will be broadcast on FS1.
