Mint Musoom Meat is a unique resource you’ll have to track down in Ensouded. It’s used for a handful of crafting projects, like creating green fabric, upgrading your Flame, or building certain armor sets from craftspeople.
There are a few places you can visit in Ensouded to track down Mint Musoom Meat. And although it has meat in its name, it doesn’t drop from an enemy—but instead a plant. Here’s what you need to know about how to get Mint Musoom Meat in Ensouded.
Mint Musoom Meat location in Ensouded
You can find Mint Musoom Meat from the Bloated Musooms found in the Soud at two key locations: Roostnook and the Umber Hollow. Roostnook, which is south of Shanty Shacks near Pike’s Port, can be found before you upgrade your Flame to level four, which allows you to visit the Nomad Highlands. If you’re looking to farm Mint Musoom Meat prior to visiting this area, this first location is the way to go. For those of you who have already upgraded your Flame to level four and need the resource to upgrade your Flame to level five, you can hunt for Mint Musoom Meat in the Umber Hollow, which is east of the Pillars of Creation, as shown on the map below.
I chose to hunt for Mint Musoom Meat in Umber Hollow, since I was also farming Ammonia Glands, which drop from the ghoulish red musoom creatures that spawn here. Whichever area you choose to farm for this resource in, though, keep your eyes peeled for glowing green plants. Bloated Musooms appear as flowers that have a radioactive center, and you can use your axe to chop them down and harvest their meat.
If you’re having trouble finding Mint Musoom Meat in the later areas of the game, go deeper into the Soud regions by Pike’s Port, and stick to the area south of the Shanty Shacks and the Imperial Gardens. If you’ve been working tough the Ensouded missions, the Imperial Gardens is where you’ll have to go to face off against the Fell Wispwyvern, a boss you need to fight against to further enhance your Flame Altar to expand the number of bases you can create in your Ensouded world.
Because you’ll be spending plenty of time in the Soud looking for these plants, make sure you’re prepared to face any hardships in this area with plenty of heals, potions, and ammo if you’re running a bow loadout. Once you find enough, it shouldn’t take more than a few hits from your axe to receive the Mint Musoom Meat. After you have enough, bring it back to your base and speak with your craftspeople, who will be eager to help you use this resource.
