LIVERPOOL’S Mo Salah drama is Arne Slot’s fault… the Reds must hang on to their star man.
The struggling Prem champions were plunged into further chaos on Saturday when Salah claimed to have been “thrown under the bus” after being left on the bench.
The Egyptian, 33, has been a substitute in Liverpool‘s last three games, coming on only once.
Jamie Carragher has sided with Slot on the matter, tearing into Salah on Monday Night Football.
But the Dutchman should also shoulder much of the blame for his star man’s underwhelming season.
Slot’s reckless tactical tinkering has totally backfired, having sacrificed Salah in a desperate bid to shore up his leaky defence.

The Liverpool boss’ bid for defensive stability has seen him ditch the proven formula that earned Prem glory last season.
Instead of letting Salah dominate the right flank, linking with his full-back and a roaming No8, Slot has shifted the shape.
His new system, which attempts to shoehorn in more midfielders by fielding Dominik Szoboszlai wide, has robbed Salah of the space and passing options he thrives on.
It’s an admission of failure – Slot can’t fix his midfield without crippling his attack.
The defensive stats have slightly improved since the tactical switch, but the Reds look blunt up top – with forwards feeding off scraps.
Dropping his talisman to play more defensively against relegation fodder could be perceived as a desperate move by Slot.
Liverpool’s £400million summer transfer splurge was supposed to see the Reds prepare for life beyond Salah.
But while the club legend is still there, it makes no sense to marginalise him.
Slot’s man-management has been shocking, understandably leaving a club icon feeling unappreciated.
The only way out is for the Kop boss is to ditch the defensive shackles, swallow his pride and restore Salah to the heart of the attack.
Salah is not the problem, he’s the solution.
It would be lunacy to sell the Premier League’s most prolific winger over a short-term tactical blunder.
If Liverpool don’t back their star man, Slot’s mistake could cost them their season AND their talisman.
