Hapoel Tel Aviv has been struggling in recent weeks. Itoudis’s men suffered their fifth consecutive defeat across all competitions after losing away to Hapoel Jerusalem (105-91).
Elijah Bryant (21) and Antonio Blakeney (20) were Hapoel’s top scorers, but it wasn’t enough to secure the win. In Jerusalem, Jared Harper (23) and Cassius Winston (18) led the way in the second half.
The first half had some ups and downs, with Itoudis’s team dominating the first quarter, but Hapoel Jerusalem fought back before the break (43-40).
The local team increased the pace in the third quarter (33-22), and Hapoel Tel Aviv couldn’t contain Winston’s talent on the court. Itoudis’ team didn’t react in the final minutes, and lost on the road (105-91).
