GARY LINEKER is reportedly in talks with a major broadcaster to host the 2027 Women’s World Cup.
Lineker is hot property after ending his 26-year stint as the face of BBC’s Match of the Day earlier this year.
And, according to The Times, Lineker could be about to scoop a new role with Netflix.
Former striker Lineker, 64. started presenting MOTD in 1999, five years after ending his prolific playing career.
But he presented his final show in May after a string of controversies over his social media use.
And viewing figures have reportedly plummeted since his exit with hundreds of thousands fewer fans tuning in every Saturday.
