Fenerbahce Beko is aggressively transforming the EuroLeague landscape by launching a massive summer recruitment drive, highlighted by a blockbuster agreement with Anadolu Efes icon Shane Larkin.

Following a successful 2025–26 season that recently culminated in a Turkiye Sigorta Basketbol Super Ligi championship, club management is moving swiftly to upgrade its roster. Eurohoops sources have confirmed recent rumors regarding the transfer of the 33-year-old playmaker.

Larkin has been the absolute cornerstone of Efes since 2018, leading them to back-to-back Turkish Airlines EuroLeague titles and earning recognition among the competition’s 25th Anniversary Team. Despite holding a contract that runs until 2028, the experienced guard is prepared to make the rare switch. Although injuries limited him to just 12 EuroLeague games last season, his formidable averages of 15.2 points and 4.2 assists proved that he remains an elite offensive force.

The Cincinnati native is not the only high-profile addition heading to the blue-and-yellow camp. In an effort to fill the massive void left by departing talent like Nando de Colo, Khem Birch, Devon Hall, and Jilson Bango, team executives have secured agreements with five other prominent athletes, as confirmed by Eurohoops.

The squad is set to reinforce its wing positions with Shavon Shields from EA7 Emporio Armani Milan and Braxton Key from Valencia. Additionally, frontcourt athleticism will be boosted by Marcus Bingham from UNICS, while backcourt depth will be bolstered by Baskonia creator Trent Forrest and Rytas standout Ignas Sargiunas.

With this ambitious six-player intake, the powerhouse organization is clearly aiming to secure a third top-tier European trophy, alongside extending dominating domestic campaigns into the upcoming 2026–27 journey.
