FOOTBALL fans were left shocked after finding out some World Cup matches will kick off at a very late time.

The 2026 tournament takes place in the US, Canada and Mexico, which means many British supporters will have to pull off some all-nighters.

The first late match will see South Korea taking on an opponent yet to be detained on June 12 at 3am BST.

Co-hosts USA face Paraguay on June 13 at 2am, while Australia battle an opponent yet to be confirmed at 5am that same day.

June 14 will see Qatar vs Switzerland and Brazil vs Morocco taking place at 11pm the PREVIOUS NIGHT in the UK.

And Scotland’s first match against Haiti will kick off at 2am that same day.

Ivory Coast vs Ecuador is penned for midnight on June 15, while Iran vs New Zealand kicks off at 2am the next day.

Mexico and South Korea face off at 2am on June 19, while the match between Scotland and Morocco – scheduled for June 20 – will take place the night before at 11pm.

Brazil and Haiti battle it out that same day at 2am in the UK, while Ecuador and Curacao face off at 1am on June 21 before New Zealand and Egypt lock horns on June 22 at 2am.

Morocco and Haiti play at 11pm on June 24, as do Scotland and Brazil that same day.

The same day will see South Africa vs South Korea and Mexico against an undecided opponent kicking off at 2am.

And New Zealand vs Belgium as well as Egypt vs Iran will take place at 4am on June 27.

Fans couldn’t believe it when finding out those kick-off times as they went into absolute meltdown on social media.
