FORMER Liverpool defender Glenn Hysen has revealed that he recently injured his achilles tendon while filming an advert.
After hanging up his boots 31 years ago, Hysen turned to a career in TV and regularly began appearing on screens in Sweden and Norway.

Although he predominantly works in commentary, the 66-year-old suffered a huge injury while filming a new advert.
However, the former Sweden player only realised that something was seriously wrong a month later.
Speaking to Swedish outlet Sportbladet recently, he explained: “The damn thing was that nothing happened. I was filming a commercial and then it hit the back of my calf, like someone had hit me with a baseball bat.
“Smack! But then I didn’t feel any pain, if I had I would have gone to the doctor straight away. But I walked around with that for a month.

“This rehabilitation will take time… The doctor said it could take a year before you’re back to normal.
“But I have nothing to go back to, so there’s no stress.”
Hysen also opened up about his love for the gym, which contributed to his weight loss journey.
He added: “I did it myself. It’s nothing special. It takes 45–50 minutes at the gym, and you work all the muscles. It’s not like you just do one part of your body. It’s a little bit of everything…
“You get better mentally. You feel better when you see that it helps and you see that you lose a few pounds. That’s motivation enough.
“Then I haven’t changed my lifestyle. I eat breakfast, lunch and dinner but not a lot of c**p in between.
