The NBA is locking in a star-studded, internationally flavored lineup for its marquee holiday showcases. The league has finalized major components of its 2026–27 Regular Season schedule, highlighting a massive Christmas Day slate and a blockbuster Opening Night.

The December 25 festivities will place Europe’s brightest icons at center stage. Fans can look forward to a global feast featuring France’s Victor Wembanyama, Serbia’s Nikola Jokic, Slovenia’s Luka Doncic, and Greece’s Giannis Antetokounmpo. The defending champion New York Knicks will serve as a primary attraction, showcasing Great Britain’s OG Anunoby alongside France’s Rudy Gobert in a festive holiday showdown.

The complete Christmas Day lineup features the San Antonio Spurs visiting the New York Knicks, followed by an intense Eastern Conference clash between the Miami Heat and the Boston Celtics. The Philadelphia 76ers and LeBron James will travel to face the Los Angeles Lakers, while the Oklahoma City Thunder take on the Minnesota Timberwolves. Wrapping up the holiday, the Denver Nuggets battle the Golden State Warriors.

The NBA also revealed details for the Opening Night on October 20. The season commences with a unique afternoon game between the Detroit Pistons and the Celtics. This triple-header then moves into prime time, featuring the 76ers at the Knicks, followed by a highly anticipated Western Conference matchup between the Thunder and the Spurs.

The excitement continues immediately into the week, with high-profile matchups scheduled for October 21 featuring Miami versus the Wolves and the Lakers hosting the Warriors. The following night, October 22, will showcase LeBron making his home debut with the Sixers against the Cleveland Cavaliers, while the Thunder play host to the Nuggets.

The league will officially announce the full Regular Season schedule on Thursday.
