ENGLAND have discovered their match schedule for the 2026 World Cup.

The Three Lions found out on Friday – in a draw which took more than two hours to complete – who they would face in the group stage of the tournament following a perfect qualifying campaign.

That draw threw up a repeat of the 2018 World Cup semi-final against Croatia, as well as clashes against previous 2018 group stage rivals Panama and Ghana, who England have played only once before – a 2011 friendly which ended 1-1.

Fans already knew the dates Thomas Tuchel‘s side would clash with their Group L rivals, but not the exact venue or kick-off time.

However, Fifa have now revealed the full match schedule during a follow-up ceremony.

And England have discovered they will play games at 9pm and 10pm.

Tuchel’s side will open the tournament on June 17 against Croatia in Dallas at 9pm, with the second match on June 23 against Ghana coming at the same time in Boston.

The group finale on June 27 will see England face Panama in New Jersey at 10pm.

Compared to some of the kick-off times that have been revealed, England have been given ideal times for armchair fans back in the UK.

England are facing a horror run if they plan to make the finals and lift the Jules Rimet for the first time since 1966.

Potential clashes against Mexico, Brazil and Argentina are on the horizon if England plan on making the final.

Scotland’s match schedule was not as kind as those afforded to the Three Lions.

They landed an opening clash at 2am against Haiti in Boston on June 14 alongside an 11pm against Morocco on June 19, again in Boston, for game two.

Their final group game on June 24 against Brazil will take place at 11pm in Miami.

Fans were shocked to also learn that some games at the tournament would commence at 5am – but fortunately for football diehards there are only four games kicking off at this time.
