Don Callis announced that Darby Allin will face Andrade El Idolo at Dynasty for an opportunity at MJF’s AEW World Championship.

Kenny Omega will be challenging MJF for the title at Dynasty after securing number one contendership over Swerve Strickland. But that’s not to say they are the only two vying for the title held by MJF, with former challenger Brody King and fellow “Pillars” Jack Perry and Darby Allin also hunting for their shot at “The Devil.”

During Wednesday’s “AEW Dynamite” Allin came out to call out the champion for his own opportunity, prompting Don Callis to then emerge alongside Andrade, Lance Archer, El Clon, and Hechicero, saying he had a message from MJF.

According to Callis, MJF said that Allin could get his title shot if he can beat a chosen member of Callis’ family at the upcoming pay-per-view. And, much to the surprise of himself, Andrade was picked to be that member.

This will be the first time Andrade and Allin face one another in singles action since the former has returned to AEW, and their altogether. Andrade beat Allin the first time they met in 2022, and then they met in a Coffin match which Allin won. Andrade has also made it clear he wants a shot at the title, and hasn’t been too impressed with being forced to work with MJF.
