Bayley’s future in wrestling has been a hot topic in recent weeks as the former WWE Women’s Champion has not been seen on television since the WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event at Madison Square Garden on July 18. She was defeated by Lyra Valkyria, and since then her contract status has been discussed heavily as fans still wait to see if she stays with WWE or moves elsewhere.

As of right now, there is a chance that Bayley will remain with WWE. That’s according to Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, who speculated that Bayley might re-sign with the company instead of becoming a free agent. The reason for this is that Bayley has been mentioned multiple times on episodes of “WWE Raw” since her match with Valkyria, and according to Meltzer, WWE would not even acknowledge Bayley or mention her name if officials didn’t at least think she was staying with the company.

When it comes to Bayley’s current deal and when it expires, that has been heavily reported on in recent weeks. Originally, it was believed that her deal would be expiring in 2026, with Bryan Alvarez recently noting that a number of WWE contracts are set to expire in October of this year, though didn’t specifically mention Bayley as having one of those contracts. In fact, Alvarez has speculated that Bayley’s deal actually expires in January 2027, while Meltzer has also noted that Bayley has a “big decision” to make in the coming months.

Bayley herself has added fuel to the fire with a recent Instagram story as she posted a video of herself training with a song titled “All In” playing over the top. This naturally caused a lot of buzz given AEW has its annual All In event in London, England on August 30, but it’s unlikely she will be a Wembley Stadium at the end of the month given previous reports.
