Darren Till and Yoel Romero are ready to battle it out in the BKFC ring.
The former UFC stars headline Saturday’s BKFC 94 card the AO Arena in Manchester, England. Both fighters successfully made weight with Romero weighing in at an even 189 pounds, while Till was slightly under that at 188.8 pounds ahead of the highly-anticipated showdown.
On Friday, both fighters went face-to-face one last time, with both having a lot to say to each other. Till and Romero’s excitement levels continued to jump up throughout the conversation with one another. Check out the exchange and final faceoff in the video below.
Romero spoke to BKFC host Cyrus Fees first, and after Fees asked a question about Romero’s drug testing — which “Soldier of God” didn’t seem to take kindly to — he had one last message for Till.
“I come for win,” Romero declared.
Till, like Romero, makes his second BKFC appearance and while he respects his opponent immensely, “The Gorilla” thinks Romero isn’t on his level when it comes to the craziness that bare-knuckle fighting offers.
“I respect all fighters that step in the ring, but this is gladiator shit,” Till said. “I’m coming for war. … I’m ready for this shit. Come on.”
