The crisis EFL club sit bottom of the Championship table on -7 points.
They were hit with a 12-point deduction in October after filing for administration.
And EFL chiefs slapped them with a further six-point deduction in December.
A consortium is in the process of trying to buy the club.
And the Owls could get a financial boost by staging a major bout.

According to The Star, Wednesday are in talks with Sheffield City Council.
They are keen to get permission to obtain the special licence required to put on events on the Hillsborough pitch.
Discussions started last week, the report adds.
And Wednesday are keen to have Dalton Smith headline a big fight night at their historic 35,000-capacity stadium.
Hillsborough has not staged a non-football event for many years.
And with many administrative loopholes to go through, there is no timeframe on when they would likely get the green light.
Smith, 28, was crowned WBC light-welterweight world champion on January 10.
He beat Subriel Matias by TKO in the fifth round in New York to go 19-0.
The huge Sheffield Wednesday fan paraded his new belt at Hillsborough last weekend before the 1-0 defeat to Portsmouth.
Now the Rotherham-born fighter could get a dream homecoming at his beloved second home in front of his adoring supporters.
