COLE PALMER fired in a 37-minute hat-trick for Chelsea as they ran riot against Wolves.
The forward scored two penalties before adding a third from open play with the Blues racing into a 3-0 lead at Molineux.
Palmer, 23, hadn’t scored from open play in nine matches before smashing in from close range after a run from Marc Cucurella.
His last goal outside of penalties was on December 13 in a 2-0 win over Everton at Stamford Bridge.
That came under Enzo Maresca but here Palmer bagged his second, third, and fourth for Liam Rosenior.
Chelsea were helped by hapless Wolves defending which gifted them two spot-kicks.

First, Matt Doherty kicked Joao Pedro as he was running way from goal only to be penalised.
Next, Yerson Mosquera shoved over Pedro as he was entering the box to chase a bouncing ball.
Palmer went to Jose Sa’s left on the first attempt and then to his right for the second.
By completing the hat-trick, his fourth in the Prem for Chelsea, Palmer now has more than anyone else for the club.
It also takes him up to 51 since joining, moving him above Gus Poyet and Tore Andre Flo despite playing 30 and 49 games games fewer.
It was also the third time he has scored a hat-trick within one half.
The previous two came at Stamford Bridge, one in his first season at Chelsea against Everton (29 minutes) and then in his second campaign against Brighton (31 minutes).
On both occasions he went on to score four goals in the match.
