Blake Monroe’s “WWE SmackDown” debut match never got started as she opted instead to blindside Giulia.
Monroe made her debut appearance on “SmackDown” on June 26, having been teased for a main roster call-up from “WWE NXT” following her last match in April; she also worked a dark match against Jordynne Grace at “SmackDown” in May.
Nick Aldis finally got around to booking her first match in four months against former United States Champion Giulia on Friday. Monroe was shown before the match feeling she should have been booked in the World title picture in an interview with Cathy Kelley. Then when Giulia made her entrance, Monroe emerged behind her and drove her to the ground.
She continued to beat her would-have-been opponent at ringside and inside the ring, but the match was never officially started and she has still yet to make her debut.
Monroe signed with WWE in 2025 having reigned as AEW Women’s World Champion in what became her last days with the promotion. She reigned as NXT Women’s North American Champion from October to December.
