BARCELONA want to low-ball Manchester United in order to sign Marcus Rashford, according to reports.
Rashford, 28, has been loving life in Spain with seven goals and eight assists in 27 matches across all competitions.
And Barca are keen to buy him on a permanent deal in the summer but not for the price agreed last year.
United inserted a £26million option-to-buy clause in his loan deal but Hansi Flick’s side are now negotiating to bring that even lower.
According to talkSPORT, the two teams are in talks over fresh terms to complete a move.
Rashford is said to be desperate to join and make Barcelona his home city.

Club president Joan Laporta echoes that sentiment and has told Rashford he is welcome to stay.
United, who have now split with Ruben Amorim, are also open to selling the player despite a change of manager.
Rashford was cast aside by Amorim last season and went to Aston Villa 12 months ago in order to rediscover his mojo.
There, he scored four and assisted six from 17 matches but saw his move come to a premature end due to injury.
United would prefer to cash in on Rashford for good, but Barcelona are still struggling financially.
Although United also believe the current price is more than a bargain for Barca, they know that it is all that stands between them and ending another lengthy transfer saga.
Rashford will be offered a contract until 2029 if other terms can be agreed, the report adds, with talks set to ramp up over the coming months.
Barcelona are top of La Liga after 19 matches, four points clear of Real Madrid.
They also beat their great rivals in the Spanish Super Cup on Sunday to add salt to the wounds with Xabi Alonso getting the sack less than 24 hours later.
Rashford came off the bench late on in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, having also played 25 minutes as a sub in the semi-final four days earlier against Athletic Bilbao.
