As training camps get underway across the BKT EuroCup, rosters for the upcoming 2026–27 season are rapidly solidifying. With the Regular Season scheduled to tip off in late September, competing clubs are finalizing their rotations to ensure depth and chemistry ahead of the grueling continental campaign.
In Group D, Bulgarian champions Balkan Botevgrad made headlines on Saturday by securing an emotional and tactical boost. The club finalized a reunion with 33-year-old guard Pavlin Ivanov, who returns to compete in the second tier of Euroleague Basketball after a 13-year absence. Under the guidance of head coach Bogdan Karaicic, the experienced Bulgarian international is set to provide vital veteran leadership to an ambitious squad. His arrival complements an already formidable roster that features Ulrich Chomche, Darnell Edge, Aleksandar Stoimenov, David Okwera, Ivan Alipiev, Nikolay Grozev, and Dimitar Dimitrov.
Late offseason action in Group B is also intensifying as Turk Telekom solidified its backcourt continuity on Friday. The Ankara-based outfit confirmed that 25-year-old Mete Tekcevik will return to the team for the next campaign. The Turkish guard’s retention follows an aggressive, high-profile offseason recruitment drive by the club. The updated roster boasts an impressive mix of domestic talent and international experience, including Ismael Bako, Kris Bankston, Goktug Bas, Jerrick Harding, Emircan Kosut, Anthony Lamb, Shaquielle McKissic, Dogus Ozdemiroglu, Tim Schneider, Tony Taylor, and Uros Trifunovic.
With 32 teams split evenly across four groups to start the EuroCup season, the top four from each will advance to the Eighthfinals.
