NEW YORK—Ahead of UFC 322, blue-chip middleweight prospect Bo Nickal joins MMA Fighting’s José Youngs to discuss everything from Nickal’s heroes (including the first autograph he ever asked for) to his favorite concerts to his life goals, and more.
Nickal looks to rebound from his first MMA loss after losing by knockout to Reinier de Ridder this past May. Prior to that setback, Nickal was 7-0 as a pro fighter, a career move he made following an incredibly successful amateur wrestling run. Nickal was a dominant force at Penn State University, winning three straight NCAA Division-I championships before transitioning to MMA.

This Saturday at Madison Square Garden in New York City, Nickal faces another veteran test when he fights decorated Brazilian jiu-jitsu ace Rodolfo Vieira in the featured preliminary bout of UFC 322.
