Zahabi (14-2) currently holds the longest active win streak in the UFC’s 135-pound division having defeated his past six opponents at that weight, and he seeks to become the no-doubt No. 1 contender when he fights former champion Sean O’Malley this Sunday at UFC White House.

The 38-year-old Canadian picked up the biggest wins of his career in 2025, first winning a back-and-forth battle against the legendary Jose Aldo at UFC 315 and following that up with perennially ranked bantamweight Chito Vera. Currently No. 8 at 135 pounds in the MMA Fighting Global Rankings, Zahabi would break into the elite of the division if he can pull off the upset against O’Malley, who seeks his own chance to regain gold.
