Antonio Conte has sensationally hinted that he could QUIT Napoli and is reportedly ready for showdown talks over his future.
The former Chelsea and Tottenham boss didn’t hold back in his post-match press conference after his champions suffered a 2-0 defeat on the road at Bologna.
Scott McTominay and Co dropped to fourth spot in the early Serie A standings, two points behind leaders Inter Milan, after 11 games with the Naples outfit also struggling in the Champions League so far with just four points on the board from four games.
Reports have emerged online that Conte and the club management will meet for face-to-face talks in the coming hours.
The discussion is said to centre around how and if the two parties move forward together with every single detail on the table.
Speaking following defeat at Bologna, Conte urged that the achievements of last season, in lifting the Scudetto, are not forgotten, but has called on his squad to find that fight and desire they showed last term.

Speaking to DAZN, Conte said: “We often think that change can happen overnight. What we’ve done shouldn’t be forgotten, but we need to keep working.
“We need to ask ourselves if we’re doing it the right way and with the same desire for revenge as last season.
“I’m disappointed because I’m not finding the energy in the guys again. It means I’m not doing a good job.
“Three or four months have passed and there’s no chemistry, no desire to fight together. I don’t know if we’ll be able to change the situation.”

Thijs Dallinga and Jhon Lucumi grabbed second half goals for the hosts to put Conte and Co to the sword, and the Italian stated his players must now ‘reflect’ after Bologna displayed more ‘positivity and desire’.
He added: “We needed more energy in everything. What’s disappointing is that they showed more positivity and desire than us.
“It should make us reflect. It’s the fifth defeat we’ve suffered this start of the year. It means we need to reflect, which we’ve already done.
“They played on Thursday and looked poisoned, we did our homework until the game was even.”
The games come thick and fast for Napoli following the November international break with Atalanta next up at home on November 22.
It’s then back to Champions League duty against Qarabag before a trip to high-flying Roma.
Focus then shifts to the Coppa Italia against Cagliari on December 3 in a hectic four games in 11 days period.
