Andreas Obst, one of Europe’s best shooters, has reportedly signed a new long-term contract with Bayern Munich.
As reported by journalist Rupert Fabig, Obst will continue to wear the Bayern jersey in the upcoming period, despite recent rumors that he might leave Munich at the end of the season.
If his reports prove accurate, Bayern will secure a fantastic signing ahead of the new EuroLeague season. Meanwhile, Obst has grown into one of the team’s most important players. This season, he averages 15.5 points per game, with over three three-pointers per match, along with two rebounds and just under two assists.
Andreas Obst began his career with Brose Bamberg, played for Rockets Gotha and Obradoiro, spent two seasons with Ulm, and has been with Bayern since 2021. He has won the German championship twice, and with the German national team, he has gold from the 2023 World Championship and gold from the 2025 European Championship.
