On the day Shane Larkin officially became a member of Fenerbahce, one of his old teammates is also leaving Anadolu Efes.
The club announced that it has officially parted ways with Rodrigue Beaubois. Thus ended the French star’s eight-year stay in Istanbul, which was marked by back-to-back EuroLeague titles.
Beaubois was transferred to Anadolu Efes in the summer of 2018 after two seasons in Baskonia. The 38-year-old guard played a major role in the two consecutive EuroLeague championships won in 2021 and 2022, as one of the important parts of the most successful squad in the club’s history.
In addition to two EuroLeague cups, Beaubois won the 2019, 2021, and 2023 Turkish League championships, the 2022 Turkish Cup, and four Presidential Cups.
Known for his scoring identity, outside shooting threat, and defensive contribution, the French guard averaged 10.0 points per game in his EuroLeague career and shot 41.8% from behind the three-point line.
