Efes pull away late in a tightly contested clash to improve to 17–10 in BSL action

Anadolu Efes edged out Galatasaray in the Istanbul derby to close Week 27 of the Turkish Basketball Super League, holding firm in the decisive moments of a tightly contested clash.

Efes secured an 87–80 road win, maintaining control down the stretch after a balanced game that remained close from the second quarter onward.

Jordan Loyd led Efes with 21 points, while Şehmus Hazer added 13. Vincent Poirier contributed 12 points, Shane Larkin posted 11 points and five assists, and Brice Dessert finished with 10.

For Galatasaray, Errick McCollum also scored 21 points. Freddie Gillespie added 15, Buğrahan Tuncer had 14, and Fabian White chipped in 11.

With the win, Anadolu Efes improved to 17–10 and will host Türk Telekom in the next round. Galatasaray, which suffered its 11th loss of the season in 26 games, will visit Merkezefendi in a rescheduled midweek matchup.
