ALEX SCOTT was one of the many football stars to stun at the Women’s Football Awards.

The 2024 ceremony is being held at London’s Marriott Hotel in Mayfair.

Scott, 39, led the way on the carpet as she wore a classy black dress and gold jewellery.

She is shortlisted for the Women’s Football Broadcaster or Journalist of the Year Award.

She is up against the likes of Laura Woods, Kate Abdo and Rachel Brown-Finnis.

Last year she won the Sport Award at the Virgin Atlantic Attitude Awards.

There was plenty more Women’s football royalty at the event as former Lionesses captain Steph Houghton made an appearance.

The recently retired star earned 121 caps for England during her career.

She also opted for a black dress like Scott’s but in a different style.

Peterborough striker Tara Kirk and ex-Tottenham star Jermaine Jenas were also snapped at the ceremony.

Eni Aluko and Jamie Carragher were pictured on the carpet.

The pair are hosting the awards night together.
