AARON RAMSEY has accepted Craig Bellamy’s invitation to link up with the Wales squad in an unofficial capacity.

The Dragons skipper, 34, was left out of Bellamy’s squad for this month’s World Cup qualifying double-header with Liechtenstein and North Macedonia through injury.

Ramsey has also been dealing with the disappearance of his family dog in Mexico.

His wife Colleen posted on social media to say the personal issue will “continue to haunt” them.

Ramsey is back in Wales after leaving Mexican side Pumas and working on his fitness at Wales’ Vale of Glamorgan HQ.

But he was offered the chance to gain coaching experience by observing training sessions this week.

Free agent Ramsey will not travel to Liechtenstein for Saturday’s Group J clash in Vaduz.

But the ex-Arsenal star will be around Bellamy’s squad for the preparations in Cardiff.

He will use his 86 caps’ worth of experience to help his compatriots.

Wales host North Macedonia next Tuesday.

Ramsey, who managed Cardiff for three games as caretaker last season, has completed his Uefa A Licence.

He has also applied to study for his Pro Licence with his playing future up in the air.

Bellamy said last week that the welfare of Ramsey is more important than his football career following the “heart-wrenching” news that his ten-year-old beagle Halo went missing last month.
