The Results of Round 9 in the ACB

Unicaja and UCAM Murcia won their games away to stay on top of the league.

In the first game of the afternoon, UCAM Murcia got the job done away against Burgos. A huge 46-58 at the break let Sito Alonso’s team secure the seventh win in the ACB (88-110). They’re now 7-2 in the standings. Devontae Cacok (19) was Murcia’s top scorer. Michal Forrest and Dylan Ennis added 17.

After that, Unicaja secured the win in Lleida (88-89) after a brilliant first half (37-51). Ibon Navarro’s team was too much for Hiopos. Olek Balcerowski was the team’s top scorer (19 and 9 rebounds), and a former Unicaja player, Melvin Ejim, led Lleida (17).

In the last two games, Zaragoza got a crucial win in Granada (83-92) in a clash between two of the teams at the bottom of the league. Santi Yusta, one of the best players in the competition, led Casademont with 20 points. Devin Robinson added 13 in the victory.

Bàsquet Girona dominated the first half (60-30) to grab the easy win (100-78) against Rio Breogán. Both teams are now 4-4 in the standings.
