THE final round of World Cup qualifying is set to come during the November international break.
England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland will know their fate following the conclusion of two more fixtures.

- Albania…11pts

Their group looks as follows ahead of the November international break:
- Denmark…10pts
- Scotland…10pts
- Greece…3pts
- Belarus…0pts
They need to win against Greece, and then beat Denmark at home to secure their spot in the World Cup.
What do Wales need to qualify for the World Cup?
Wales have a chance to secure their spot in the qualifying round, but automatic qualification would require a lot of results to go their way.
Their group looks as follows ahead of the November international break:
- Belgium…14pts
- North Macedonia…13pts
- Wales…10pts
- Kazakhstan…7pts
- Liechtenstein…0pts
They will face Liechtenstein away, and then face North Macedonia at home.
To keep their hopes alive, Wales must beat Liechtenstein, at which point they would draw level on points with North Macedonia.
As North Macedonia have played a game more than Wales, they face a friendly against Latvia before travelling to Cardiff.
If Wales can beat Lichtenstein and North Macedonia, they will qualify for the next qualifying round.
To win the group and qualify automatically, they would need Belgium to pick up a maximum of one point out of six.
What do Northern Ireland need to qualify for the World Cup?
Northern Ireland are in Group A of World Cup qualifying, alongside Germany, Slovakia and Luxembourg.
Their group looks as follows ahead of the November international break:
- Germany…9pts
- Slovakia…9pts
- Northern Ireland…6pts
- Luxembourg…0pts
Northern Ireland face two games, away at Slovakia, and at home against Luxembourg.
